Endpoint Support Specialist Position Available In Johnston, North Carolina

Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for an Endpoint SupportSpecialist to join a leading manufacturing company in the Clayton,NC area. The overall function of this position is to ensure thatthe needs of the user community are being met in all aspects of ITsupport. The Endpoint Support Specialist will be responsible forsupporting company endpoints, network equipment and varioustechnology assets. The Endpoint Support Specialist must be able towork autonomously while being part of a larger remote WorkplaceTechnology and Infrastructure teams. The position functions withina very fast paced and continually changing environment and requiresa person who can handle the day-to-day pace.

Responsibilities:

Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the following:

Computer hardware and software Laser printers and barcodingprinters Mobile devices (cell phones, tablets and barcode scanners)Network equipment (firewalls, switches, routers) Audio-visualequipment for meeting room Evaluating, prioritizing and resolutionof support tickets within SLA’s established within the ticketingsystem Set-up, delivery and installation of new equipment Followsdepartmental procedures for maintaining asset inventory Responsiblefor working with all members of the Workplace Technology Team andIT Department. Cybersecurity oriented task to limit the risk to thecorporate network Assist with moves, adds and changes within theoffices as required. Identifying, evaluating and providingrecommendations on new technologies to the management team Work onvarious IT initiatives related to endpoint management, network,cybersecurity, OT network and CNC machine. Be the onsite presenceand representative for the corporate IT department and lead localIT initiatives.

Requirements:

Min 5 year’s experience within asimilar environment University or College degree or certificate incomputer science or equivalent Good interpersonal skills as well asgood written and oral communications skills Excellent knowledge ofPC hardware, software and windows/Mac operating systems. Basicknowledge of a local network topology (IP address, VLAN, layer 2switches) Knowledge of Audio Visual systems and equipment will bebeneficial. Knowledge of network routing protocol and firewall willbe beneficial. Ability to work autonomously under the pressureinduced by a production environment Valid driver’s license andautomobile. Must be capable of lifting computer equipment. Be ableto work within a manufacturing environment as well as salesoffices. Experience with the following topics would be beneficial:
