Automation Engineer/ Rewst/ MSP
This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity with a rapidly expanding managed services and consulting firm that supports clients nationwide. As part of their commitment to leveraging modern technologies and automation, they’re building a new team from the ground up focused entirely on streamlining infrastructure and enhancing system efficiency through integration and automation platforms like Rewst, ConnectWise, and scripting languages like PowerShell and Python.
This is an exciting chance to join as the first hire on a newly launched Automation team. They’re looking for a senior-level automation expert who can not only execute but also help shape the foundation and direction of this function. If you’re someone who enjoys improving system performance, cutting down on manual work, and making an impact through thoughtful automation, this could be a great fit. The role offers autonomy, leadership exposure, and the chance to work across a variety of tech environments with opportunities to grow as the team scales.
Required Skills & Experience 5+ years in IT systems integration, automation, or scripting roles At least 2 years operating at a senior or lead level Experience with SQL, APIs, ETL processes, and data migration Proficiency with scripting (PowerShell and/or Python) Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Desired Skills & Experience Previous work in an MSP or consulting environment Familiarity with identity providers, SSO, SAML, and OAuth Experience using Rewst or similar workflow automation tools

Tech Breakdown 50% PowerShell/Python scripting 30% Rewst/ConnectWise automation workflows 20% API integrations and infrastructure tools
