Charlotte, NC Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Deskside support Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our dynamic IT team. Knowledge and Hands on experience in End User Devices Desktops, Laptops & Virtual Machine, Intune, SCCM and basic of Azure fundamentals. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Desktop Administration, Field Services, and Desktop Management with a focus on Landesk. This role involves handling and optimizing geospatial data systems to support our companys strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Manage and optimize Endpoint Operations to ensure flawless functionality and security.
Supervise CITRIX environments to provide reliable and efficient virtual desktop solutions.
Implement and maintain Desktop Management using SCCM to streamline software deployment and updates.
Apply Device Management Intune to handle and secure mobile devices across the organization.
Provide Field Services support to address and resolve hardware and software issues on-site.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure IT infrastructure aligns with business needs.
Monitor system performance and solve issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to enhance system security and efficiency.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Provide technical support and training to end-users to enhance their productivity. Lead projects related to IT infrastructure upgrades and improvements.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements
Certifications Required ITSM Related certifications Salary and Other Compensation Applications will be accepted until May 8, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $37,000 to $68,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
