Job Description

Lead Network Architect

Key Responsibilities:
Network Operations Management:

Oversee 24/7/365 network operations, ensuring high availability and performance of all network systems.

Infrastructure Maintenance:

Maintain and optimize LAN, WLAN, and data center LAN infrastructures, ensuring seamless connectivity and minimal downtime.

Protocol Support:

Manage and support network-related activities, including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and NTP protocols, to ensure efficient network services.

Upgrades and Patching:

Plan and execute network platform upgrades, OS patching, and firmware updates on network appliances to maintain system integrity and security.

Hardware and Circuit Support:

Provide support for network services, hardware, and circuits, including troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.

Performance Monitoring:

Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Documentation:

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in managing and configuring routers and switches, with a strong understanding of network protocols and services.

Experience:

Minimum of 8 years in network engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing network operations.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Project Management:

Experience in planning and executing network projects, including upgrades and migrations.
