Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an Network / System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the effective and successful management of the retention, supervision and discovery of electronicmunications for regulated lines of business
Ensure application availability and performance meet or exceed the needs of our business partners
Enable and ad to regulatory requirements as established and enforced by various governmental regulatory bodies
Operational Analysts serve as apany representative on regulatory issues and provide technical support for the business partners that use the retention and supervision platforms
Support enhancement of the operational procedures, systems and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes and enhanced management reporting
Ensure all production regulated messaging applications are performing and providing a stable platform
Manage and support of all applications that enablepliant supervision review of electronicmunications
Service delivery to all Supervision & eDiscovery users
Successful implementation and validation of application service changes
Maintains support relationships with eDiscovery and Legal teams to make sure business strategies are consistently met
Ensure that business partner priorities are identified, implemented andmunicated as it pertains to Supervision policy management
Interface with EC Compliance to ensure adnce topliance requirements via technical controls and reporting
Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teammates
Collaborate with vendors and outside technical support teams
Effectively manages workloads based on priority and urgency
Responsible for creation and maintenance of knowledge base and procedural documentation

Requirements:

3 or more years of working in a technical operations role
Strong working knowledge of ITIL standards and practices
Proven problem solving skills
Proven analytical skills
Provenmunication skills on a technical and non-technical level
Proven process documentation skills
Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems and internet browsers
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting
Able to participate with on-call support rotations
Desired skills:
Exposure to electronicmunications retention and supervision
Exposure to regulatorypliance rules and regulations
Experience with automation of recurring processes
SQL Scripting
PowerShell Scripting
Technical Certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, Network)
Technical Writing
MS Windows Server
