Windows Endpoint Intune Engineer (Telemetry & Optimization Focus) Genesis10 life insurance, 401(k) United States, North Carolina, Charlotte Jun 11, 2025 Genesis10 is currently seeking a Windows Endpoint Intune Engineer (Telemetry & Optimization Focus) with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, ark, DE, Hopewell, NJ, Kennesaw, GA and Jacksonville, FL. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Audit and document thousands of existing Active Directory Group Policies (GPOs)
Identify redundant or obsolete GPOs for removal
Migrate applicable GPOs to Intune CSP (Configuration Service Providers) for modern device management
Collaborate with IT architecture teams to ensure policy alignment with security and compliance standards
Implement and configure Microsoft Endpoint Analytics to collect telemetry from enrolled endpoints
Analyze large-scale telemetry data to identify application performance bottlenecks and hardware degradation or driver issues
Optimization opportunities for memory, disk, or CPU
Translate analytics findings into actionable remediation steps
Enhance operational visibility and performance across Windows endpoints

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in enterprise Windows systems engineering
Proven experience with Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, and Autopilot
Deep understanding of Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and Intune CSP translation
Hands-on experience configuring and leveraging Endpoint Analytics dashboards
Ability to interpret large volumes of device telemetry and recommend system optimizations
Experience in large enterprise environments (100K+ endpoints preferred)
Strong documentation and cross-functional communication skills Desired skills: Experience with Intune MDM enrollment at scale
Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, or Windows Virtual Desktop
Exposure to SCCM/ConfigMgr migration scenarios Pay range: $56.90 – $64.90 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
