Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Wilmington, NC(Hybrid). The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Juniper, Aruba, and HPE switches. Key duties include managing Fortinet SDWAN and administering Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls.

Rate Range:

$37/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Engineer job responsibilities include:
Managing and troubleshooting Juniper, Aruba, and HPE switches and routers
Configuring and maintaining Fortinet SDWAN solutions
Administering Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls for network security
Developing and deploying automation workflows to improve efficiency
Ensuring optimal network performance through proactive monitoring and support

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
8+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering
Proficiency with Juniper, Aruba, and HPE switching and routing technologies
Experience configuring and managing Fortinet SDWAN (WAN and firewall) solutions
Strong knowledge of Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewall administration
Proven ability to develop and implement network automation workflows
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently in high-pressure environments

Pay Details:

$37.00 to $49.00 per hour
