Piper Companies is seeking a highly organized and proactive Automation Engineering Lead to oversee critical BMS and industrial automation projects. This role is essential in ensuring seamless system integration and optimization within a high-performance environment, with a focus on leading teams and collaborating with external systems integrators. This role is a hybrid, M-F opportunity in the Holly Springs area of North Carolina. Key Responsibilities of the
Automation Engineering Lead:
Lead teams of automation engineers and external systems integrators to ensure successful project execution Provide functional expertise in Siemens, Rockwell, and Wonderware automation platforms Oversee the integration, troubleshooting, and optimization of BMS equipment, including chillers, boilers, and air handling units (AHUs) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficient system operations and continuous improvement Conduct technical assessments, upgrades, and system validations to enhance automation performance Qualifications of the
Automation Engineering Lead:
Proven experience leading automation teams and managing project execution Strong technical background in Siemens, Rockwell, and Wonderware systems Extensive knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), including chillers, boilers, and AHUs Ability to collaborate effectively with external system integrators and internal stakeholders Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and leadership skills Compensation and Benefits of the
