Network Engineer Job Description Join our dynamic Control Center Networking team, where you will play a critical role in transforming operations by maximizing the power of technology, business processes, and data insights. As a Network Engineer, you will support and deliver network automation, security, and monitoring services to IoT customers. Embrace the opportunity to be a visible contributor in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Responsibilities Support and deliver Network automation, security, and monitoring services to IoT customers. Maintain and create new tools to enhance network services. Rapidly respond to escalated issues with creative problem-solving skills. Collaborate with network architects, engineers, and the mobility team to run our IoT offer. Utilize programming and scripting languages for network automation. Build and maintain a long list of contributions to your team and customers. Essential Skills Experience in software development and maintenance with Netconf, Yang, or Python. Knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and EIGRP.
Proficiency with Nexus platforms:
N7K, N9K.
Experience with security protocols, encryption (IPSEC, SSL), and VPN. Strong troubleshooting skills for complex hardware/software problems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with
CISCO ACI
is a plus. Familiarity with container and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Superb attention to detail and specification.
