We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Proxy Security Specialist for a Full-Time position.

Job Summary:

As a Security Specialist (Proxy), you will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining proxy infrastructure to efficiently manage and safeguard network traffic. Your expertise in proxy technologies and network security practices will be key to maintaining a reliable and secure network environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and implement secure, scalable proxy solutions to manage network traffic.
Define and maintain proxy policies based on business and security requirements.
Implement robust security measures on proxy servers to guard against cyber threats.
Execute SSL interception using integrated PKI environments.
Ensure configurations align with security and compliance standards; maintain documentation.
Fine-tune configurations and troubleshoot performance issues on proxy infrastructure.
Monitor proxy logs and network traffic to maintain stability, reliability, and responsiveness.
Respond to incidents, vulnerabilities, and breaches related to proxy services.
Lead root cause analysis and production troubleshooting efforts.
Provide expert technical support to internal teams and end-users.
Liaise with Symantec/Broadcom Support as needed for escalations and resolution.
Stay current with evolving proxy server technologies.
Recommend and implement improvements for enhanced performance and security.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

Required Skills:

Expertise in HTTP proxy configuration, integration, and administration (Broadcom Bluecoat preferred).
Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTPS, and general proxy principles.
Proficiency in the design, deployment, and management of:
Symantec/Broadcom Advanced Secure Gateway (ASG/SG) Proxies
Management Center
Reporter
Web Security Services
Understanding of network, protocol, and application-layer traffic flow.
Familiarity with SSL interception techniques and internal PKI integration.
Experience in SNMP, Syslog, PKI, HSM, VPN technologies.

Desired Skills:

Experience with APIs, scripting languages (Perl, Python, JavaScript), and Splunk data flows.
In-depth understanding of circuit gateways and generic proxy configurations.
Strong command of application layer protocols: HTTP, SSH, SSL, etc.

Experience:

Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience with Bluecoat/Proxy solutions in large-scale, complex network environments.
