Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Collaboration Tools Engineer to serve as the highest tier of technical support for Slack and Zoom within our enterprise environment. This role will oversee the administration, troubleshooting, integration, and optimization of these platforms, ensuring exceptional user experience and alignment with corporate security and compliance policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Slack Administration & Engineering
Act as Tier 3 support for complex Slack-related incidents, escalations, and service requests
Troubleshoot API failures, app integrations, user access conflicts, and performance degradation
Manage enterprise Slack configurations, including channel governance, user provisioning, and Slack Grid
Monitor Slack service health and analytics; proactively address systemic issues
Automate workflows and integrations using Slack APIs, webhooks, bots
, and internal app development
Implement and enforce enterprise-grade security and compliance controls (SSO, DLP, retention policies)
Maintain and update documentation, SOPs, and the Slack administration knowledge base
Conduct training and mentoring for Tier 1 and 2 support staff on Slack operations and best practices
Collaborate with IT, InfoSec, and Compliance teams to ensure Slack adheres to internal standards
Track Slack roadmap and feature releases; assess and implement relevant enhancements
Zoom Support & Administration
Install, configure, and maintain the Zoom client across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for issues related to performance, audio/video quality, and integrations
Manage Zoom client policies and settings via the Zoom Admin Portal
Ensure compliance with security standards (SSO, encryption, access control) and drive related enforcement
Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues (VPN, firewall, proxy) in coordination with infrastructure teams
Test and validate Zoom versions before production deployment
Integrate Zoom with third-party tools (e.g., Outlook, Google Workspace, Slack
)
Create user-facing guides and deliver Zoom platform training
Support major events and participate in incident response & RCA for disruptions
Stay current on Zoom enhancements and contribute to tool improvement recommendations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in enterprise IT support, with a focus on collaboration tools
Expert-level understanding of Slack Enterprise Grid
, Slack APIs, automation workflows
Proven experience supporting Zoom enterprise deployments
, client configuration, and integrations
Strong grasp of corporate

SSO, DLP

, and compliance concepts
Familiarity with log analysis and service monitoring tools
Ability to lead cross-functional troubleshooting and support efforts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in Slack Administration and Zoom Rooms (or equivalent)
Experience with identity providers (Okta, Azure AD) for SSO integrations
Scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python, Bash, JavaScript)
Previous support experience in a global or regulated environment
