TITLE:
Senior Automation Engineer
LOCATION
2 Gateway Center, 283-299 Market Street, Newark, NJ 07102
DUTIES:
Serve as an individual contributor in leading technical efforts and capabilities as a subject matter expert within the deployment, sustainment, and strategy areas. Focus on monitoring, observability, and automation. Analyze, review and progress the overarching observability and monitoring arena with enabling technology and solutions utilizing cloud-first/cloud integration methodology. Influence centralized, standardized, consistent postures by evaluating current business requirements and scope and determining best practices and governance. Set/drive technical architecture for and be the final escalation point for application and infrastructure teams when integrating and producing metrics, dashboards, and application framework monitoring. Conduct strategic review and analysis to determine approach to the technical solutions, as they relate to all components and facets of the stack and application integration assistance, guidance, and governance.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Information Technology and Management, or related IT field plus 4 years of related experience. Experience must include 4 years of experience within a DevOps, automation or monitoring capacity; using AWS management and deployment; working with stack tools including DataDog, New Relic, or CloudWatch; using automation and development with AWS architecture, and GIT, Jenkins or CICD; using Docker containerization; using different platform OS (Operating Systems) including RHEL or Windows; operating in Agile/Scrum; and with virtualization technologies capabilities including VMWare, Docker, or Kubernetes.• Role holder is eligible to work fully remote within any state in the US that Broadridge is authorized to conduct business, with Manager & HR Approval.
SALARY:
From $168,000 – $170,000 per year.
