Monitor all Windows and VMware system alerts and assist to resolve complex issues in system hardware and software. Administer efficient work of servers through capacity planning and performance tuning. Provide support to everyday operations by responding to requests from customers. Analyze Windows and VMware servers for failure and assist customers to restore files. Utilize patching tools for efficient application of Windows and VMware patches and security controls or vulnerabilities. Install and configure various commercial software products on Windows and VMware operating systems. Convert servers from physical to virtual using VMware converter tools. Build physical and virtual servers. Collaborate with the storage team to prepare upgraded strategies for storage deployment. Administer and execute Windows and VMware operating systems management activities and manage all backup activities. Coordinate with various groups to perform troubleshooting on all Windows and VMware production problems and provide resolution. Collaborate with the networking team to install necessary hardware to systems. Develop complex system standards and recommend improvements to enhance performance. Report network operational status by gathering network data, prioritizing information, and managing projects and implementations. Participate in problem management and root cause analysis for Windows and VMware servers. Maintain 24×7 availability and monitor Windows and VMware servers. Provide after-hours maintenance and support for Windows and VMware servers. Prepare technical recovery guides for Windows and VMware servers for disaster recovery. Utilize Windows Operating System Administration, VMware vSphere, VMware ESXi, VMware VSAN, VMware NSX & VMware VCloud.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, $137,842.00 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Must have 5 years of IT experience. Must have 2 years of experience as an Infrastructure Specialist or related work experience. Must have 2 years of experience in Utilizing Windows Operating System Administration, VMware vSphere, VMware ESXi, VMware VSAN, VMware NSX & VMware VCloud.

The position requires travel to various unanticipated worksite locations throughout the U.S. When not required on-site, 100% telecommuting permitted.
