Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Voice Video Engineer to join a dynamic team responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting enterprise-grade voice and video solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Cisco Unified Communications technologies and a proven ability to deliver scalable, reliable voice/video architecture in complex, multi-vendor environments.
This role requires a strong technical leader with hands-on experience in Call Manager (CUCM), SIP/ISDN trunking, and MS Teams Voice integration. The engineer will play a pivotal role in aligning communication systems with strategic business goals and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and certify large-scale or multi-site Cisco voice and video solutions.
Support and maintain Cisco Voice Collaboration platforms, including Call Manager (CUCM) and Unity Connection.
Translate diverse business requirements into collaborative technology solutions.
Provide architectural direction, documentation, and expert consultation for enterprise-wide voice infrastructure.
Collaborate across internal teams and external vendors to deliver technically sound and scalable communication solutions
Develop and maintain technology roadmaps based on business needs, resource planning, and strategic initiatives.
Evaluate and integrate MS Teams Voice within a hybrid voice/video environment.
Participate in high-level scoping, solution costing, and feasibility assessments.
Lead or contribute to voice/video testing efforts and continuous improvements of communication systems.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in enterprise networking and telecommunications.
7+ years of hands-on experience as a Voice Engineer working with Cisco Unified Communications platforms.
Deep technical expertise in:
Cisco Call Manager (CUCM)
Cisco Unity Connection
SIP and
ISDN/PRI
trunking
Cisco routing and switching platforms
Strong experience with VoIP system testing and deployment.
Experience integrating MS Teams Voice into enterprise environments.
