NETWORK ANALYST Responsibilities:

Implement, monitor and optimize new and existing Local Area Network servers. Maintain and update user Active Directory and Group Policy objects. Install, configure and maintain network domain controllers SAN and fileservers; Exchange, SQL, ISA, IIS, NAV, Back-up Exec etc. Analyze and take corrective action to resolve network problems involving computers, network hardware and network operating systems using appropriate analyzing tools.

Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of; Windows Server 2000/2003, LAN networking strategies, network architecture, equipment protocols, and capacity planning. Understanding of OSI model with special focus on Layers 5, 6, and 7. Able to install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 2000/2003, Windows XP and Citrix ICA client. Must have strong interpersonal skills; oral and written, background in training. Bachelor’s degree in technical field or equivalent experience/education required, ability to work in team environment, desire to learn and maintain broad range of hardware and software, flexibility to work alternate shifts on an as-needed basis. Certification in Microsoft products strongly preferred; must be able to meet Civil Service requirements. A driver’s license and vehicle needed for inter-school travel.
