Position Summary:

Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced hands-on Networking Manager to lead and manage our network infrastructure. This role requires a strong technical background in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting, with significant hands-on experience with Cisco FTD (Firepower Threat Defense), Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine), and Cisco Meraki solutions. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader who can also roll up their sleeves and actively participate in network operations, projects, and problem resolution.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.1
8+ years of progressive experience in network engineering and administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) and Firepower Management Center (FMC).
Deep expertise in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) administration and policy implementation.
Proven experience managing and optimizing Cisco Meraki networks (MX, MS, MR).
Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, VPNs, etc.).
Experience with network security best practices and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, etc.).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Cisco CCNP Security or CCIE Security certification.
Cisco Meraki certifications.
Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Ansible) for network device configuration and management.
Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Experience with other network vendor technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Juniper).
