  • $143,000 Ranges are per year based onexperience, along with a comprehensive benefits package thatincludes bonus and 401K.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Performsadvanced technical/engineering problem solving in support ofnuclear plant operations. Responsible for technical decisions.

Possesses strong knowledge in functional discipline and itspractical application and has detailed knowledge of applicableindustry codes and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND

ACCOUNTABILITIESProvide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage andimplement engineering analysis, activities and programs. Providetechnical expertise and consultation through direct involvement toidentify and resolve equipment and system problems. Providecomplete task management of engineering issues. Perform engineeringtasks as assigned by supervision applying engineering principles.

Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of workensuring proper configuration management and assuring that standarddesign criteria, practices, procedures and codes are used inpreparation of plans and specifications. Perform independentresearch, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technicalprojects and programs. Recommend new concepts and techniques toimprove performance, simplify operations, reduce costs or complywith changes in codes or regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

forMid-level E02 Fuels Engineer B.S. in Engineering, a minimum 2 yearsengineering experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

for Senior E03 FuelsEngineer B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional EngineerMinimum of 7 years’ engineering experience with 1 years in theFuels Engineer IIIA Classification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Professional Engineer Registration QNE Qualification
