Posting Job Summary (Purpose): As a Senior Network Engineer, this position will require a candidate to have experience in LAN, WAN, firewalls, routers, VPNs, wireless, QoS, IP addressing, DHCP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and related technologies to support the variousworks. This candidate will also interact and work closely with internal business teams and 3rd party vendormunications to support the business and plant operations. This position requires an active role in design, implementation, and maintenance of allworks in the environment, ensuring appropriate isolation between individualworks and following industry best practices to ensure security and availability of services. Candidate will work with IT management to rmend, adopt, document, andmunicate standards and prores on an ongoing basis. #
LI-Hybrid Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain strongmunication across business, technical teams, and all senior management levels.
Responsible for management of Firewalls including but not limited to Cisco FirePower and ASAs, Fort, as well as Palo Alto.
Responsible for management of LAN, WAN, VPN, DMVPN, Client
VPN, WLAN, IP
addressing, DHCP, IPS, QoS and other required technologies in support of both business and plant operations.
Responsible for maintainingpliance with standards, prores, policies, and practices.
Responsible to meetwork requirements for support of IP telephony solutions.
Responsible for developing effectivework monitoring and solutions.
Work with management to develop and maintain standards and prores to meet policy andpliance requirements.
Identify hardware and software technical problems,work and/or related system malfunctions, as well as upgrade and deploy firewalls, routers, switches, WLAN, and relatedponents.
Responsible for,pliance and operational reporting, tracking and configuration management per security policies. Requires travel to plant facilities within our geographic footprint.
Additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge in areas ofwork infrastructure operations including planning and maintaining firewall, IPS, LAN, WAN, VPN, DMVPN, Client
VPN, WLAN, IP
addressing, DHCP, firewall, QoS, disaster recovery, high availability, enterprise security, and datamunications.
Ability to understand theplex, inter-ed environments and propose solutions that incorporate multiple, related variables, while maintaining required levels of isolation.
Ability to develop and follow detailed project plans.
Prior experience with maintenance, service delivery, production support, information security, risk, audit, and asset documentation.
Must possess good verbal and writtenmunication skills, as well as have strong analytical skills.
Ability to provide level 2/3 Tech Support to remote users and travel to local locations as requested.
Experience with Cisco’s Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus.
Education and Experience Required:
B.S. in Computer Science and/or Information Systems or equivalent experience.
At least 5+ years of relevant experience.
Cisco CCNP or equivalent experience. AmeriGas is an Equal Opportunity.
