Summary:

Drives thearchitecture, implementation, and optimization of networkingsystems within Summas IT department. This role is vital inenhancing Summa’s network infrastructure, ensuring robust andefficient network performance to support patient care andadministrative applications. Reporting to the Director,Infrastructure, the Technical Lead will collaborate with various ITteams, clinical departments, and external vendors to deliverhigh-quality networking solutions. The position requires strongmentoring and technical leadership skills, a deep understanding ofnetworking technologies, and the ability to act as the topic leadand escalation point for a team of network engineers.

MinimumQualifications:

1.

Formal Education Required:

a) Bachelor’s degreein information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, orequivalent combination of education and/or experience. 2.

Experience & Training Required:

a) Eight (8) years of experience innetworking roles, with a proven track record in networkarchitecture and managing complex network infrastructures,preferably in a healthcare setting. b) Strong experience withCisco, Palo Alto, Azure Networking, and other enterprise networkingequipment and software. c) Track record of implementing, managing,improving network security, including firewalls, VPNs, andintrusion detection/prevention systems. 3.

Other Skills,Competencies and Qualifications:

a) In-depth knowledge ofnetworking protocols, design, and implementation. b) Strongproblem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complexnetwork issues. c) Familiarity with healthcare regulations relatedto patient data and privacy, such as HIPAA. d) Proficient increating technical documentation, including network diagrams andarchitecture designs. e) Excellent communication and technicalleadership skills, capable of guiding and mentoring a team ofnetwork engineers. f) Strong project management skills with theability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. g) PCproficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook,Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.). 4.
