Duties andResponsibilities:
- Work closely with MI Project Management (PM)team to deliver high quality Synapse product solutions.
- Act aslead technical resource for MI Implementation projects.
- Specifyand deploy third party hardware and software infrastructure.
- vSphere products: ESXi, v
COPS, SRM.
Storage:
FC infrastructure,disk array design, setup and deployment, storage protocols =
FC,NFS, CIFS, DAS.
- Disaster Recovery (DR) setup and validation:
Backupexec, NAS or Tape media.
- Plan and deploy
Synapse MIsolutions:
Radiology PACS, Cardiology PACS, Synapse EIS, Synapse3D, Synapse Mobility, Synapse VNA.
- Complete “existing customer”projects.
- Infrastructure hardware refreshes.
- Date migrations.
- General architecture changes and/or redeployment.
- IntegrateSynapse MI products with all third-party healthcare IT systems,e.g. dictation, EMR, Citrix, and EIS.
- Adhere to rigorous internalproject communication guidelines using tools provided.
- Extensivedocumentation development.
- Customer specific solution designdocumentation.
- Best practice documentation.
- Learn new Synapseand third-party products as they are released, often with limitedtraining.
- Participate in Subject Matter Expert (SME) program.
- Adheres to the Companys quality and regulatory compliancerequirements, without exception, and ensures that all job dutiesinherent in the position description are performed in accordancewith established policies and procedures.
- Comply with allapplicable U.
S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medicaldevice regulatory requirements, applicable
ISO 13485
standardrequirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, andstandards.
- Comply with and pass all requirements for vendorcredentialing as part of gaining access to hospitals and facilitiesto perform assigned job duties.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 5-10years’ experience in Healthcare Information Technology.
- 5-10years full time experience working with Microsoft Windows serverand desktop operating systems (2008/2012/2016/Windows 10) in atechnical capacity.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degreein a technical discipline or Associates degree with significant onthe-job experience in a hospital, Cardiology or Radiology settingin an senior technical or managerial role.
Special Skills or OtherJob Requirements:
- Excellent organizational, oral, and writtencommunication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of PACS and ClinicalInformation Systems for Cardiology, Radiology, and related servicesincluding workflow.
- Working knowledge of business continuity anddisaster recovery implementation.
- Advanced systems design,architecture, configuration, administration, and troubleshootingskills.
- Expert level knowledge in vSphere products – specificallyESXi and Site Recovery Manager.
- Expert level knowledge in storageinfrastructure design, deployment and troubleshooting.
- Firmknowledge of overall network design and security.
- Familiaritywith clinical data transfer protocols and interfaces (DICOM, HL7,XML, etc.
).
Physical Requirements:
The position requires theability to perform the following physical demands and/or have thelisted capabilities:
- The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicablework time.
- The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel andmanipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicablework time.
- The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% ofapplicable work time.
- The ability to lift and carry up to tenpounds up to 20% of applicable work time.

Travel:
- Occasional (up to 25%) travel may be required based on businessneeds.
Salary and Benefits:
- $84,500.00 – $107,182.00 (salarydepending on experience)
