Senior Software Engineer –

Storage Role Purpose:

Wasabi Technologies seeks an experiencedStorage Software Engineer to join our high-performance StorageTeam. You’ll part of design and develop software for Wasabi’ssecure, scalable cloud storage platform, built on cutting-edgehardware and software.

We are seeking candidates with file systemdevelopment, along with hands-on experience in Go and Kubernetes.

This role is ideal for someone looking to apply their deeptechnical skills while continuing to grow in a collaborative, agiledevelopment environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test,deploy, and maintain storage software solutions.
• Build scalableand efficient storage components using Go and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers to enhance storage systemreliability and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable code andcomprehensive tests and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolvesoftware and system issues in production environments.
• Contributeto improving our development practices and agile workflows.

Requirements :

• 5-6 years of hands-on experience in file systemdevelopment or low-level storage technologies, particularly flashand SSD-based solutions highly desired.
• Strong programming skillsin Go (Golang); experience with Kubernetes in productionenvironments.
• Solid understanding of Linux Kernel, storagestacks, and filesystem behavior.
• Experience with distributedsystems and modern API design (REST, gRPC, Swagger).
• Comfortableworking in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Knowledge/Experience of file system (ext3, zfs, wafl,ntfs, etc.)internals and storage protocols (NFS, SMB, S3, FC, iSCSI, NVMe andNVMe-over-Fabrics) is desired.
• Experience with data replicationand mirroring solutions is desired
