Job Description
Teksystems has a client in the Charleston, SC area that needs to add a Network Engineer to their team. The role is slated as a 3 month contract to hire with the client. The role is hybrid but the client needs the candidate to be local to the Charleston, SC area. They must have a strong understanding of OSI model, strong understanding of BGP and OSPF routing protocols, be familiar with SolarWinds monitoring tool, experience with LAN and WAN, experience working in data centers, and experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst. This person should be a self-starter and problem solve. They prefer people to come up with solutions and share their knowledge with the team. Cloud architecture would also be a nice to have.
