As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll ensure thecurrent infrastructure is functional and available and constantlylook for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latesttechnology and the best implementation strategies. You’ll provideyour customers insight into their network through monitoring andperformance management. Your technical expertise will be vital asyou identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in amission critical network. You’ll help your team better understandthe network by turning metrics into information and explainingtheir meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset withtools such as Ansible, oVirt, pfSense, FreeIPA, Docker, Jira, andConfluence. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share yourexpertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the teamworkthrough challenges and develop new methodologies. You Have:

6+ years of experience with Linux Experience in a system engineering or system administrationrole Experience with Linux system administration and Virtual MachineManagement Experience with Jira ticketing and Confluence TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph HS diploma or

GED Nice If You Have:

Experience with advanced troubleshooting of network, firewall,system, and application issues, including oVirt, FreeIPA, andpfSense Experience provisioning virtual infrastructure and allocatingvirtual infrastructure hosting software Experience with container provisioning tools, including Docker Experience with Apache NiFi deployments Ability to use automation tools and Infrastructure-as-Code tomanage installations, pipelines, and scripting Bachelor’s degree in

CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics,Statistics, or Engineering IAT Level II Certification Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, includingbut not limited to location, the individual’s particularcombination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, andexperience, as well as contract-specific affordability andorganizational requirements. The projected compensation range forthis position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). Theestimate displayed represents the typical salary range for thisposition and is just one component of Booz Allen’s totalcompensation package for employees.
