We are seeking a creative ITprofessional to help us support classified computing facilitiesthat are instrumental to significant Department of Defense andother government organizations. You will actively assist with our IT support efforts,including planning, configuring, installing, and maintainingsystems used in laboratory environments and field tests. As a Data Storage Manager— Your primary responsibility will be working with our StorageTeam to ensure the support, security, and maintenance of multipleenterprise classified data storage systems hosting over 10petabytes for sponsor data. You will maintain ongoing data analysis and provide reports ofstorage usage, data integrity, and accessibility quality. You’ll collaborate with other team members, program/projectmanagers, and knowledgeable customers to plan new storageprocurement and deployment. These storage technologies can includeconsiderations for virtualization, High Performance Computing(HPC), data archive and recovery, networking and otherrequirements, depending on the programs’ needs. You will be working with other group members and teams thatspecialize in multiple disciplines such as Information SystemSecurity Officers (ISSO) to implement Security TechnicalImplementation Guides (STIG), Windows/Linux System Administratorsfor access and authentication, Network Engineers for datatransport, and Facility and Datacenter Administrators for space andlogistics. Qualifications You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you have… Deep knowledge and understanding of Dell/EMC storage solutions,NetApp, HPE, or managed enterprise storage solutions. – Experience working with and securing systems to DoD/RMFstandards. Strong knowledge of high capacity storage, backup, object, andarchive technologies. Networking experience especially as it relates to storage. Experience generating detailed reports of data usage andhealth. Current DoD 8570 certification. Hold an active Secret security clearance and can ultimatelyobtain a Top Secret clearance. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographiclocation, work experience, market conditions, education/trainingand skill level with consideration for internal parity. Forsalaried employees scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week,annual salary will be prorated based on the number of hours worked.

APL may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation per internalpolicy and/or contractual designation. Additional compensation maybe provided in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits,locality allowance or discretionary payments for exceptionalperformance.
