What We Do The Cloud Administrator role ensures the stability, integrity and efficient operations of on-premise and off-premise Cloud infrastructure that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by providing on-premise and off-premise computing delivery services through workflow automation, installing and maintaining Cloud infrastructure for on-premise computing, as well as performance monitoring and capacity planning for all Cloud infrastructure. The Cloud Administrator will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve technical problems and issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. What You’ll Do Receives work assignments through the “ticketing system” or from Lead Administrators and management Performs server hardware/software installation and maintenance tasks for on-premise Cloud infrastructure. These tasks range from standard in nature to moderately complex May perform complex technical tasks with minimal guidance from senior technical personnel Installs and maintains Cloud management tools Provides problem diagnostic and resolution support Uses Cloud management tools to perform performance monitoring and capacity planning functions for all Cloud infrastructure Contributes to the design, development and implementation of Cloud workflow processes and procedures Provides guidance and support to internal and external customers on Cloud services and workflow processes Required to provide on-call support during off-duty hours on weekdays, weekends and holidays on a scheduled/rotating basis Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs. Works autonomously on assigned installation, maintenance, support and problem identification/resolution tasks of a standard to moderately complex nature Under guidance and direction from senior-level technical personnel, work on complex technical tasks Contributes to the design, development and implementation of automated Cloud workflow processes No formal management responsibilities Works autonomously on standard to moderately complex installation, maintenance and support tasks within the general guidelines of the department Works under guidance of more experienced team members on complex installation, maintenance and support tasks Actively contributes to the results of a team and works towards achieving team goals and objectives What you’ll Bring Generally requires BS Degree or equivalent work experience

Desired Certifications:

Microsoft Windows operating systems, storage area networking or tool automation VMware or Hyper-V virtualization technologies Employees entering this job typically have 3-5 years of hands-on technical experience supporting some combination of X86 server, storage and networking infrastructure 3-5 years working with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2008/2012 Server OS and/or Storage Area Networks Knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V virtualization technologies Capable of developing basic workflow automation processes through the use of scripting languages and workflow automation tools Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work Analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot infrastructure problems Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to work as part of a team

Salary Range:

$75,375 – $100,475 Annually This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
