Job Description:

Experience with architecting, deploying and managing the F5 Appliances and F5 Virtual Editions for Production Services of LPL Financial Hands-on experience with deployment using F5 BIGIQ and Ansible Playbooks Experience with API structures and methods of calling APIs (GET, POST, OPTIONS, etc) Deep Level of troubleshooting Proficient in Linux, Unix and Windows Operating Systems Experienced Supporting Application Deployments Understanding and Proficient in Programming Languages like (TCL, JavaScript, Python, Bash and PERL) Experience with general Application Distribution Architectures using F5 LTM and GTM (BIGIP DNS) modules which include other modules like ASM, APM and iRule Logic for performing advanced functions of VIPs and Services. We are seeking a highly skilled F5 Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the F5 platform, including application and network sides, scripting, and on-premises load balancing. This role requires strong automation skills using Ansible and exceptional troubleshooting abilities. The F5 Engineer will work closely with application build teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our networked applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• F5

Platform Management:

Configure and manage F5 devices, including BIG-IP systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.

• On-Prem Load Balancing:

  Implement and maintain load balancing solutions within our local data center, focusing on on-premises environments.

• Automation:

  Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible to streamline tasks and configurations.

• Troubleshooting:

  Attend all troubleshooting calls, diagnose and resolve network and application issues promptly.

Collaboration:

Work closely with application build teams to integrate and optimize network solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• F5

Platform Expertise:

Strong experience with F5 technologies, including application and network sides, scripting, and configuration.

• On-Prem Load Balancing:

  Proven experience in implementing and managing on-premises load balancing solutions.

• Automation with

Ansible:

Extensive experience in configuring Ansible for automation tasks and building robust automation solutions.

• Troubleshooting Skills:

  Exceptional problem-solving abilities and experience in attending and resolving issues during troubleshooting calls.

Team Collaboration:

Experience working with application build teams to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications:

  F5 Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or similar certifications.

• Scripting Languages:

  Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.

Networking Knowledge:
