We are searching for a territory manager for the Virginia, Maryland, and Northeastern North Carolina territory. This person will be responsible for the sales growth of three of our divisions; Lord and Company, MacGuire and Crawford, and R.A. Moore. Lord and Company has been a successful system integrator since 1982. They are a leader in the municipal market and continue to grow rapidly. R.A. Moore has been a successful system integrator since 1980. They are a leader in the industrial automation market and continue to grow rapidly. RESPONSIBILITIES
Visit customer sites to assess customer needs and potential, develop and maintain strong relationships, and generate and close sales. Hold yourself accountable for high performance. Prospect and developnew accounts as well as grow relationships with existing customers. Become a part of your customer’s business. Interact with inside sales staff being someone they want to support. Continually look for new ways to grow and generate revenue. Know your marketplace and communicate with your manager. Always be professional and ethical in dealing with customers, vendors, and coworkers. Continual training on our products so you will become a valued technical resource to your customers. Our ideal candidate will also possess : Municipal market sales experience. Outside industrial sales experience. Engineering or business degree. Posses a positive, confident attitude. Motivation to succeed. Industrial distribution experience. Track record of growing sales. In depth knowledge of basic instrumentations (i.e., Flow; Level; Temperature and Pressure, etc.).
