Job Description
BGSF is seeking a Sr. Storage Administrator This role is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s storage infrastructure, ensuring the availability, performance, and security of storage systems, as well as implementing data backup solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain storage systems including SAN, NAS, and DAS. Monitor storage and backup performance and capacity; perform upgrades and optimizations as necessary. Implement and manage data backup and disaster recovery solutions. Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and policies. Collaborate with other IT teams to support infrastructure projects and initiatives. Troubleshoot and resolve storage and backup-related issues. Document storage configurations, processes, and procedures.
Experience/Educational Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in data storage and backup administration. Strong knowledge of storage technologies and protocols (e.g., RAID, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, etc.). Experience with storage management tools and software. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Work Environment:
Onsite 100% for the first 90 days. After that, with manager approval and planning, the option for a flexible work arrangement.
