Kenco Management Services, LLC seeks a Network Optimization Engineer in Chattanooga, TN to collect, analyze and manipulate data from a wide variety of sources and use appropriate analytical methods, mathematical models and tools to develop flexible, scalable network models. Support the development and configuration of what if scenarios to understand, analyze, and improve supply chain operations, designs, flows and processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all constraints (internal or external) are handled and documented within models to ensure transparent and accurate network solutions. Support the implementation of created models/solutions aimed at optimizing the network and flow of materials. Summarize technical efforts into meaningful and effective reports to wide range of audiences. Work with sales and marketing to target opportunities to define winning portfolios while leveraging effective and applicable metrics (e.g., % tail, ROACE, profitability, and customer satisfaction).
Position requires:
Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in Operations Research, Statistics, Logistics, Business Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related quantitative field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related supply chain network design position.
Work experience must include:
1) use of Supply Chain Guru or comparable Network Optimization software; 2) network and/or transportation modeling, optimization and analysis; 3) demonstrated knowledge of transportation operations and rating and warehousing operations. Domestic travel required to client sites in the U.S. up to 50%. Fully remote position can be performed from anywhere in the U.S. To apply, send resume to Katie.
