Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Administrator to manage and enhance the Microsoft Azure environment for a respected healthcare organization. This full-time role demands a proficient individual in cloud resource management, identity and access management, and automation tools. The position is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation and security of the organization’s IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be based on-site, with the contract duration contingent upon project needs and performance.
Responsibilities:
Administer and oversee the Microsoft Azure environment to ensure optimal performance and security. Implement and manage Entra ID & Entra ID Connect for robust identity and access management across the organization. Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell to streamline administrative tasks and processes. Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations using SAML/OIDC and OAuth protocols to enhance user accessibility and security. Manage identity synchronization and access controls to safeguard sensitive data and systems. Conduct regular system audits and updates to ensure compliance with the latest security standards and practices. Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to assess system needs and implement necessary changes or enhancements. Provide technical support and guidance on system administration and troubleshooting to IT staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in managing Microsoft Azure environments.
Required certification:
Microsoft AZ-104 (Microsoft Azure Administrator). Strong experience in PowerShell scripting or similar automation tools. Proven ability to configure and manage SSO, SAML/OIDC, OAuth, and Kerberos authentication protocols. Demonstrated expertise in identity synchronization and access control management. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically. Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with various IT teams. Availability to start immediately and commit to the duration of the project.
