Job Description

Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Systems Administrator, Advanced for our client located in Montgomery, AL . This position is onsite in Montgomery, AL, and requires in-person availability starting day 1.

Job Overview:

Seeking an experienced Microsoft engineer on Azure cloud with expertise in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of large-scale projects in the cloud. The ideal candidate is experienced in cloud-based tech, with a firm grasp of emerging technologies, platforms, and applications, and the ability to customize them to help our business become more secure and efficient. The Systems Engineer position will work within the Infrastructure Services Section to provide configuration and support, technical expertise, and administration of Azure and On-Prem Active Directory services and servers knowledge of additional tools and services, such as IIS, SCOM, Powershell scripting, and ability to work in a collaborative environment is essential. An extensive knowledge of cloud maintenance and Azure certification

is required.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of the following: Entra ID and app management Entra ID Connect and identify synchronization PowerShell scripting or other automation scripting SSO, SAML/OIDC and authentication protocols, NTLM, Kerberos, OAuth, etc. Upgrading and configuring system software and hardware components Administering, managing, and maintaining Group Policy in a Windows Server environment Maintain Azure resources, user access, services Active Directory administration Windows Server Administration Assist in the formation and maintenance of system standards Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes Review system and application logs, verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups Repair and recover from system failures Work closely with other departments to address system and infrastructure concerns

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience Microsoft
