Job Description

We are looking for a committed Systems Administrator to join our Infrastructure team. You will solve uniquely challenging problems for our Defense and Homeland Security customers. WHAT YOU WILL BE

DOINGSystem administration of Apple, Windows and Linux development, test and production systems  Implementing and utilizing our monitoring, alerting, and response system capabilities while keeping current with industry and new solutions that may integrate with program systems Utilizing security management capabilities. Monitoring and maintaining awareness of user access logging, privilege management, vulnerability management, patching, and network throughput among various program environments. Server builds (physical/virtual) hardware life cycle, system updates, software and security patching, and technology roadmapsSupporting and maintaining DHCP, AD, DNS, CA and Print serversSupporting various Atlassian software suites – JIRA, Confluence, BitbucketSupporting IDP applications, Google, O365, Life Cycle Management applicationsImaging company endpointsSupporting VMware vCenter/vSphere InfrastructureConfiguring and maintaining various access control methodologiesDocumenting and/or updating IT and Cyber Security policies and proceduresMaintaining secure computing environments through industry best practices such as DISA STIG or CIS BenchmarksUtilizing remote control software, remote desktop protocols, and other remote administration toolsSupporting an onsite and remote workforce utilizing best practices and effectively collaborating with remote teamsWorking independently on many day-to-day tasks with the support of team members and managing your time effectively to meet deadlines and goals

WHAT YOU HAVE

DONE3+ years Windows system administrationManaged Linux (RHEL or Ubuntu) Servers/Desktops in an enterprise settingManaged Apple macOS and Windows endpoints in an enterprise setting VMware Management – deploy and maintenance of the hypervisor, vCenter, guest (linux or windows)SAN ManagementManagement of Active Directory Environment (DNS, DHCP, AD, AD

)Planned and implement technical projects including new server deploymentsConducted system performance and file integrity monitoringSupported user access control or other IAM solutionsManaged user issue identification, reporting, tracking and feedback functionsEscalated user issues based on trends or alertsManaged alert systems and watch controls/duty roster functionsMonitored network service logs (firewall, routing, DNS, etc.)Obtained industry recognized professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+ CE.
