Job Description
Description We’re seeking a skilled Network Administrator to manage and optimize our network infrastructure. You’ll ensure reliable connectivity, security, and performance across LAN, WAN, and cloud environments. Key Responsibilities:
+ Configure, monitor, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls). + Troubleshoot network issues, including connectivity, latency, and packet loss. + Implement and enforce security protocols, such as VPNs, VLANs, and access controls. + Monitor network performance using tools like Wireshark or SolarWinds and optimize as needed. + Manage IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory services. + Perform regular backups, updates, and patch management for network systems. + Document network configurations and create reports for IT leadership.
Requirements Qualifications:
+ 3+ years of experience in network administration or a related role. + Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and hardware (Cisco, Juniper, etc.). + Experience with firewall management (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet) and intrusion detection systems. + Familiarity with cloud networking (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure Networking) is a plus. + Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex network issues. + Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent) preferred. + Ability to work on-call for critical network incidents when required.
