Job Description

Integrated Data & Systems Specialist 2.3 2.3 out of 5 stars 1700 Education Avenue, Punta Gorda, FL 33950 Position Summary The Integrated Data & Systems Specialist is responsible for maintaining the organization’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and other data management systems to ensure compliance with DCF and state reporting requirements. This role ensures data integrity, accurate reporting, billing compliance, and provides technical support and training for system users. The position conducts detailed medical record reviews, identifies and corrects data discrepancies to meet reporting standards, verifies authorizations, and ensures pay sources are accurately loaded and prioritized between primary and secondary coverage. The position also oversees special contract/grant billing and reporting while working to improve data processes and efficiency. Benefits Dental, vision, health, and life insurance. Preference towards individuals who possess knowledge of grant billing and compliance reporting. Preference towards individuals who possess experience in training staff on EMR and finance systems. Ability to perform repetitive tasks and sit/stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds. Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test. Valid FL drivers’ license, insurance, and safe driving record. Dependable transportation (registered, safe operating conditions, etc.).
