Systems Administrator Systems Administrator position, – Microsoft (windows, windowsserver, etc.), VMware (vsphere), Mac OSx, Linux, etc. Preferred Qualifications ?4+ years of experience in an IT Organization with specializationin infrastructure, server environment, desktop support or otherrelated technical areas. ?2+ years of experience in a Microsoft networkenvironment-Exchange, Server, etc. ?Prefer certifications in Microsoft core competencies- MCP, MCITP,VCP, Linux+ and A+ certifications are an added advantage. ?Extensive application support experience. ?Linux and MAC experience in an office environment is required.
Position Responsibilities:
?The incumbent will have a core concentration on the MAC OSx,Linux, and Microsoft Windows Desktop & Server with the primaryfocus on desktop/laptop support. ?Manage Microsoft environments for Windows, Windows Server,Biztalk, and SharePoint. ?Candidates will possess system expertise in the areas of design,configuration, implementation, and administration to effectivelysupport and grow these technologies. ?Participates in the planning, implementation, and review processesfor new and existing systems, where applicable. ?Responsible for managing individual projects assigned and teamcollaborative projects. ?Participate in the design, build, and deployment of applicationand infrastructure systems according to requirements, SOP?s, andstandards. ?Establishes, maintains, and monitors system access and security inorder to safeguard company data. ?Coordinate resolution of production system/server issues. Performinitial research and diagnostics of system/server issues and logissues in ticketing system to facilitate timely resolution. ?Works with other IT groups to ensure that supported equipmentprovides sufficient computing power to deliver desired level ofbusiness performance. ?Works closely with other groups to coordinate plans andactivities, including coordination to facilitate specificdevelopment projects that involve systems, as well as thecoordination of software upgrades and installation of softwarepatches. ?Ensure that all projects maintain and track to an approvedtimeline. ?MUST work well both independently, and as part of a team, in afast-paced environment with competing priorities. ?The candidate must be available to join the on-call rotation, andbe able after hours when needed for changes, break fix, etc. We are an equal employment opportunity employer and will considerall qualified candidates without regard to disability or protectedveteran status.
