Instructional Systems Specialist Position Available In Escambia, Florida

Overview:

GovCIO is currently hiring for an InstructionalSystems Specialist to support the RRL initiative of CNATT. Thisposition will be located in Pensacola, FL and will be an onsiteposition.

Responsibilities:

Collaborates with and gathers coursematerial from subject matter experts. Conducts analysis of programrequirements and determines a strategic solution. Converts writtenmaterials and course content into interactive courseware. Providesa user-friendly interface for content contributors and end-users.

Develops new e-learning programs or updates and maintains existingcourseware in alignment with objectives. Keeps abreast of trainingand development research: adult learning theory, motivation theory,and new materials, methods, and techniques. May evaluate and/oroversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administertraining programs. Must be able to collaborate with project managers, subjectmatter experts, and multimedia specialists. Creates criteria for determining course effectiveness and makesimprovements. Selects or develops teaching aids such as demonstration models,multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and referenceworks. May evaluate end-users to determine technological literacy,learning capacity, and teaching methodology. Develops flowcharts and storyboards based on coursematerials Must be knowledgeable and capable of operating various computerbased training systems including distance learning and long rangefacilitated group discussions. May be responsible for producing quick reference guides.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s with 2

• 5 years (or commensurateexperience)

• Experience working in CPM, AIM, and LOM
• Experienceworking in a collaborative environment supporting instructionalanalysis, design, and development Preferred Skills andExperience

Posted Pay Range The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects therange expected for this position at the commencement of employment,however, base pay offered may vary depending on multipleindividualized factors, including market location, job-relatedknowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. Thetotal compensation package for this position may also include othercompensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIOreserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any otherdiscretionary payment or compensation program) at any time,including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO orindividual department/team performance, and market factors.
