ASRC Research and Technology Solutions is seeking an Information Technology (IT) professional for the role of Service Response Systems Administrator – Team Lead in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Unified Cyber Situational Awareness (UCSA) program in Pensacola, FL. The Service Response Systems Administrator supports 24x7x365 classified operations and will design, install, configure, secure, troubleshoot and maintain operating systems for mission critical servers in support of classified programs supporting the Department of Defense (DoD).
This is a 24x7x365 environment. The candidate must have the ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift schedules.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a shift of administrators and watch officers.
  • Coordinate 24/7 operations schedule with other Team Leads.
  • Guide employees under their supervision in the development of their career, and conduct annual performance evaluations.
  • Responsible for the timely submission and approval of timecards for personnel they directly supervise.
  • Manage Enterprise Red Hat Linux computing infrastructure.
  • Installation and Maintenance of Enterprise Linux Servers and network systems server/storage/network devices in accordance with DoD policies and procedures
  • Test new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact.
  • Provide assistance to users accessing and using IT systems.
  • Communicate effectively with remote customers.
Requirements:
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI access.
  • A DoD 8570 IAT Level II approved certification is required.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining Linux/Red Hat systems/networks and related applications.
  • Experience supervising a team of 3-5 personnel.
Requirements:
  • Experience with big data and data formats such as CSV, CEF, JSON, and XML.
  • Experience with Splunk.
  • Experience with Clustered File Systems.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing technologies.
