JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the configuration, customization, and administration of Jira and related Atlassian tools. Ensures optimal setup for workflows, user roles, and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure Jira projects, boards, custom fields, screens, and workflows
Implement permission schemes, notifications, and SLAs
Manage user roles and access control
Perform regular backups, upgrades, and maintenance
Automate tasks using Jira automation rules
Support integrations with CI/CD tools, Slack, ServiceNow, etc.
Troubleshoot performance and configuration issues
Skills & Experience:
3 5 years of experience in Jira/Atlassian administration
Strong knowledge of Jira Software and Jira Service Management
Experience with Atlassian Cloud and/or Data Center
Scripting (Groovy, Python) and
REST API
familiarity
Atlassian certifications preferred
