Network/Systems Administrator Position Available In Hillsborough, Florida

Hiring a Network Admin for a client in Downtown Tampa, FL. Must have experience with

VMware & Firewalls Location:

4 days in Downtown Tampa office, 1 day remote

Salary:

$80,000 + benefits & pto

Team Size:

small, 1 other teammate in networking and a few others in other IT verticals

• Company is moving their firewalls from Meraki to Fortinet
• Experience with policies and firewalls is a must
• VMware and NetApp exposure
• Company’s on-prem servers and a COLO facility is in Georgia for back-up
• Hybrid Windows environment with Google Workspace (1,500 people)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain wired/wireless networks, including firewalls and security protocols.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network, server, and telecom issues.
• Install, configure, and update network hardware and software.
• Design and deploy network solutions and provision new circuits.
• Coordinate with onsite teams and dispatch field technicians as needed.
• Support helpdesk with network, server, and application troubleshooting.
• Administer servers, monitor performance, and manage software deployments.
• Handle printer connectivity issues and assign static IPs to devices.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Industry certifications such as Network+, CCNA, or Security+ preferred.
• Hands-on technical experience with Cisco switches and firewall administration.
