Our client is currently seeking a Application Administrator (Aptos)
Job Summary:
The Application Administrator will provide support for our client’s financial and retail applications-specifically the Aptos Sales Audit and Sales Tracking System (STS).
This role will focus on:
Supporting the daily operations of Aptos STS and other financial applications Handling tasks such as application maintenance, updates (certificates/passwords), documentation, issue resolution, incident/change order management, training, and participation in meetings and projects
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Application Administrator Hands-on experience with Aptos Sales Audit and Sales Tracking System (STS) Proficiency in Unix and Linux environments Active or prior Secret Clearance is a strong plus, but not required
Responsibilities:
Act as liaison between the Help Desk, system administrators, DBAs, and business users Install and configure application software Manage application parameters and monitor performance Troubleshoot technical application issues and coordinate resolutions Analyze errors across databases and applications Coordinate installation of vendor patches, cyclical releases, and major upgrades Provide technical support for application interfaces Respond to IT Service Desk requests in alignment with SLA guidelines Support documentation and reporting efforts, including weekly status reports Ensure compliance with Information Security/Assurance policies and best practices Participate in project meetings and other program-related duties as needed Must meet ONE of the following education or certification requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science OR Hold one of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+ ce GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) Must meet eligibility requirements to obtain privileged security access to the client’s systems.
