Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES). Key Responsibilities Network Administrator –
Journeyman:
Supports, configures, maintains, and upgrades networks and servers, in support of DoDIN operations services, the Joint DoDIN Operations Center (JDOC), Enterprise Data Center (EDC) operations services, warfighter experience (WX) services, and IT enabling services, as directed Installs and integrates new server hardware and applications Maintains baseline of infrastructure requirements and communicates with OEM vendors on projected systems improvements Supports and administers third-party applications Ensures adherence to
USSOUTHCOM
cyber security practices and directives Monitors network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and tests/evaluates for weaknesses Directs and executes user accounts, permissions, and passwords support requirements Resolves problems reported by
USSOUTHCOM
users Defines and supports network policies and procedures. Specifies system requirements and designs solution,; providing research and recommendations on network systems and server system administration Provides expertise to address ancillary services and surge requirements Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
Required Skills:
US Citizen with active secret level clearance Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field One or more certifications: CompTIA Network +, Cisco Certified network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Security +, Juniper Networks Certified Assoicate – Junos (JNCIA-Junos), or Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate 3-5 years of relevant experience Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments while supporting multiple projects Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with change management tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow) – ________________________________________________________________________________________
