The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior System Integrator to join our team to support U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) in Doral, Florida. This position will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing Enterprise Operations in alignment with ITIL best practices. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth and efficient implementation of changes across
USSOUTHCOM
Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES). This position is contingent upon award .
Responsibilities:
Performs development engineering, integration, installation, operations and maintenance, and disposal of Linux-based IT software in support of DoDIN operations services Responsible for developing technical solutions that may require collaboration with internal experts and deep analysis of the technical system Configures Yellowdog Update Manager to install and test Linux patches Performs installation of SW as defined by RFCs and TCTOs Maintains Puppet and Satellite servers to facilitate automated deployment of Linux Virtual Machines (VMs) Works with OEM engineers to resolve elevated system issues, identify risks, and execute remediation procedures and document these fixes by updating procedures and authoring knowledge articles Provides cross-functional support to the following task areas Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments and may supervise others
Qualifications:
Required:
Must hold an active secret level clearance Bachelor’s degree in related field +7 years experience Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments while supporting multiple projects Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with change management tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow)
Desired:
Experience in a large, distributed IT enterprise Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles
