Position Overview The IT Admin at Margaritaville at Sea is responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT systems, providing technical support to staff, and implementing IT policies and procedures to support the company’s objectives. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees to resolve IT-related issues promptly. Monitor system performance and security, implementing necessary updates and patches to ensure data integrity and protection. Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to enhance system efficiency and security. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of IT services. Conduct regular system audits and prepare reports on IT operations and performance metrics. Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects and upgrades to support business growth and innovation. Stay updated with the latest technology trends and recommend improvements to enhance the company’s IT capabilities. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT administration or a similar role. Proven experience in managing and supporting IT infrastructure and systems. Experience with network administration and security protocols. Familiarity with cloud services and virtualization technologies. Familiarity with cloud services and virtualization technologies. Required Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues. Excellent understanding of network configurations, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Ability to manage and maintain server environments, both physical and virtual. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
