Linux Systems Administrator (SLES/SuSE | RHEL | VMWare) active SECRET clearance – in Winter Park, FL •MUST have an active SECRET (or higher level) DoD security clearance with a U.S. Citizenship•MUST have either a CompTIA Sec+, CISSP, or equivalent security certification

PROJECT SCOPE

This role will start on must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift) The manager advised that this will likely happen around the year end push around November and December but could be other times.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 4 years experience required with all skills Highest priority skill is DoD IAT Level II certification (i.e. Sec+ CE), other mandatory requirements are as follows: MUST have an Active DoD Secret Clearance Linux Server Administration ( RedHat/RHEL and SLES ) experience Windows Server and Desktop OS experience Knowledge and experience with scripting (Ex. Windows(PowerShell)/Linux(shell scripting) Prior experience in requirements and verification The LINUX Systems Engineer IT performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications :

Active DoD Secret Clearance Linux Server Administration (RedHat and SLES) experience Windows Server and Desktop OS experience DoD IAT Level II certification (i.e. Sec+ CE) Knowledge and experience with scripting (Ex. Windows(PowerShell)/Linux(shell scripting) Prior experience in requirements and verification Ability to work third shift Desired skills : Knowledgeable in information systems networking Experience working with VMWare/ESXi, VSphere, and Hyper-V for automated configuration/updates Experience with Excel, Agile, Atlassian tool suite (JIRA/Confluence) and IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM).
