INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM SPECIALIST II

8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday – Friday; may be required to work weekends.

Other:

Valid Florida Driver’s License and PBC Risk Management Department driving history approval prior to appointment.

THIS IS AN AT-WILL POSITION.

Responsible for technical and professional work overseeing multiple complex information management tracking systems for the Community Services department. Responsible for implementing, operating, maintaining, interfacing, and updating multiple information management tracking systems. Responsible for monitoring system performance, maintaining the integrity of systems security, analyzing systems needs and implementing system solutions; and designing and running reports. This job requires the ability to exercise considerable independence when determining work methods and procedures to accomplish challenging tasks dealing with multiple information tracking systems. Work is reviewed by an administrative superior through conferences, reports and evaluation of results obtained. QUALIFICATIONS

: Associates Degree in Computer Science, Public/Business Administration or related field; minimum of three (3) years of experience in the operation of an information management system (IMS).

Equivalencies :

1. Related Bachelor’s Degree and one (1) year of related experience 2. Unrelated Bachelor’s Degree and three (3) years of related experience 3. Unrelated Associates Degree and four (4) years of related experience 4. Graduation from high school/equivalent recognized certification and five (5) years of related experience.

PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE IN/WITH

: Analyzing data from multiple systems; using data for report writing; dashboard and report writing using Tableau, Online System for Community Access to Resources and Social Services (OSCARSS), Learning Management System (LMS); Crystal Reports;creating, coordinating and conducting information management system (IMS) trainings.
