IT Asset Management ITTrail Blazers Boca Raton, FL 33434 Job Title – IT Asset Management Admin Location – Boca Raton, FL (Onsite) Position Summary This role includes tracking asset lifecycles, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and overseeing procurement and disposal processes. The goal is to optimize spending and reduce costs through detailed record-keeping and reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Accurately record all IT assets including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals. Track asset details such as serial numbers, purchase dates, location, and assigned users. Manage the lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to disposal, including decommissioning and recycling. Ensure adherence to software license compliance and vendor agreements. Implement security protocols related to asset management. Report compliance status to relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with procurement teams to purchase new IT assets. Generate reports on asset utilization, cost analysis, and potential risks. Provide training on asset management policies and procedures. Configure and maintain the ServiceNow ITAM module. Manage user access, permissions, and roles within ServiceNow. Work with incident and problem management teams to resolve asset-related issues. Manage service catalog items related to asset management. Ensure service catalog items meet defined SLAs. Required Skills 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) module. 3+ years of Asset Management experience. 3+ years of experience working in a data center environment. 3+ years of experience in an IT Operations role. Experience with IT ticketing and asset management systems like ServiceNow. Ability to analyze data and understand IT asset lifecycle. Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
