Junior Systems Administrator Position Available In Palm Beach, Florida

Description We’re looking for an enthusiastic Junior Systems Administrator to support and maintain our IT systems. You’ll assist with server management, user support, and infrastructure operations, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist in managing Windows and Linux servers, including updates and backups. + Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. + Support user account management in Active Directory and other IAM systems. + Monitor system performance and report anomalies using tools like Nagios or Zabbix. + Help deploy patches, software updates, and security configurations. + Document processes and maintain accurate inventory of IT assets. + Collaborate with senior admins on infrastructure projects and maintenance tasks. Requirements 1+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration (internships count). Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS). Familiarity with virtualization (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies. Good communication skills to assist users with varying technical knowledge. Entry-level certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Microsoft MTA) are a bonus. Ability to prioritize tasks and work under supervision in a team setting.
