Job Description

Client Site IT GIS Administrator 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars The Villages, FL 32162 • Remote Within the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, this position is responsible for participating as a member of the Program Management Team as the Client Site IT GIS Analyst following the duties and responsibilities below. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities:

Provide on-site, and/or remote GIS technical support to a government customer. GIS tasks include desktop analysis, GIS server and geodatabase administration, Microsoft SQL, database analysis and administration, map and web application development, and GIS user on call support. ESRi GIS server administration, license server, ArcGIS Server Manager, and ArcReader, patch-updates installation.

Assists other members of the TSG Client Site Support Team whenever and wherever possible. All other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.); six (6) months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience. Proficiency in Government related GIS mapping applications using software such as: ESRI ArcGIS Desktop Advanced and Pro ESRI ArcGIS Network Analyst, Publisher, Spatial Analyst, Tracking Analyst ESRI ArcGIS Server Enterprise Advanced ESRI ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Online, web adapter, web app builder, API’s including Java, Rest & Soap AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil/Survey, Infrastructure, Raster, and AutoCAD Map. Previous local government GIS related experience, familiarity with public works applications, utilities, facilities and asset management, tax, and cadastral mapping, addressing, and geocoding, routing and navigation, development services, future land use and zoning, land development codes, permitting, emergency services and disaster response, police/fire 911 dispatch, Gov’t Accounting and budgeting, voter and school districts, and public information applications. Prior training and experience in designing, and administering, editing Enterprise level multi-user Microsoft SQL databases, ESRI SDE connections and services. Four years professional GIS work experience at a minimum. Experience using/maintaining infrastructure asset management applications such as CityWorks. Customization of ESRI ArcGIS Server, map and other GIS service publication, ArcGIS Portal, and web app builder. Familiarity with ArcGIS server REST and SOAP end point administration, and API maintenance. Familiarity with Python scrips, ArcGIS Toolbox customization, web, and hybrid app application support.
