Position Overview/Responsibilities for the
Network Systems Administrator:
Install, configure, and support LAN/WAN, internet systems, computers, and mobile devices
Manage and monitor network/system performance; perform upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery
Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues; escalate to vendors as needed
Design, test, and maintain networking hardware, software, and scripts (e.g., PowerShell)
Create documentation and user instructions for system operations and upgrades
Recommend and implement improvements to systems and network infrastructure
Provide after-hours support for monthly firewall updates
Required Skills for
Network Systems Administrator:
3+ years of experience in:
Microsoft Azure, M365, Server, Active Directory administration
SharePoint Online support
2+ years of VMware and network administration
Strong scripting skills and documentation experience
Proficiency in ManageEngine, Net App, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 Administration
Strong experience in PowerShell Scripting and Active Directory
Experience in setting up and validating disaster recovery plans, including backups, for a mixed cloud/on-prem environment
