System Administrator General Description :
The ideal candidate will have 3 – 7 years’ experience in an IT systems, networking, and/or support role. The selected candidates will provide technical support for computers and associated networks. Installs, troubleshoots, services, and repairs personal computers, network equipment such as servers, related PC software, telephones, cables, etc. Provides personal computer, hardware, and software support.
Requirements:
A four-year Bachelor’s degree, preferably in ISDS, IT, Computer Science, Math, or a related field. 3-7 years’ experience in IT, primarily in support/systems/networking. Microsoft Windows experience. Cajun is a medium sized construction company with a long history in Louisiana. Cajun’s IT team supports approximately 900 users, 2/3 of which are at or near the home office in Baton Rouge. The position is based at the Baton Rouge office. Laptops, smartphones, printers, PCs, iPads, and various types of networks are involved. Various software and custom software is supported.
